The Chase Dog Club is an upscale dog daycare, hotel and spa located in Oak Grove, MN. We pride ourselves in providing unconditional fun, safety and comfort to the dogs while maintaining world-class convenience to their owners. We are currently looking for a positive, reliable and self-motivated dog lover to join our team as a Dog Groomer on a part-time or full-time basis. This is a non-exempt position. The ideal candidate thrives off a fast-paced environment that can be loud at times, is proactive and self-motivated, handles stress with ease, and has a strong attention to detail.Looking for experienced dog groomer to join our team at The Chase. We are a privately owned business that truly cares about our customers and their pets.Our ideal candidate must be able to handle dogs of all sizes, from toy to XXLarge and will have an attention to detail when brushing, combing, dematting, clipping and scissoring, ensuring the safety and well-being of the animals under their care. In addition to having quality technical skills, candidates must truly enjoy making connections and building long-term relationships with our clients and our team. Salary is commission based. Your salary potential is based on the number of dogs that you can properly groom.Must have good customer interaction/communication skills.We just finished building a state-of-the-art grooming salon inside our facility that has kennels, hydraulic tables, grooming tub, shampoos, conditioners and high velocity dryer.Looking for a groomer that preferably has their own grooming equipment(clippers, blades, scissors, etc.) but will provide it if needed.Ideal candidate would be someone who doesn’t mind working flexible hours while we build up a full grooming schedule.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:A love of dogsKnowledge of dog breeds and their grooming and care standardsTime management skills, must be able to adhere to scheduleAbility to self-critique quality of grooms and hold oneself to the highest standardsLeadership skills with the ability to coach & mentor team members in a culture-first environmentAdequate transportation to perform job dutiesAbility to stand for long periods of timeCreates builds and maintains relationships with clientsThis Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:Dependable — more reliable than spontaneousPeople-oriented — enjoys interacting with people and working on group projectsDetail-oriented — would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture(Submitted January 14, 2022)
