Job Title: Bather/Groomer
Monday- Friday 11am-7pm and Saturday- Sundays 8am-4pm (if available to work weekends)
Job position would start is June
Location: River Falls, WI
Hello my name is Shelby and I am the owner at Emerald Green Grooming. I am currently looking for a full time bather/groomer. I currently have a bather here now but she will be leaving end of June. She will provide all shop training and the basics around the place before she leaves. This would be an hourly paying position for bathing and commission based if grooming, plus tips. I will provide a grooming station with table and drawers, a bathing station and all towels and shampoo products.
Expectations/requirements:
-Comfortability with bathing and drying, skills in brushing/combing, shaving, scissor trimming, nail trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing and expressing anal glands when needed.
-Shop cleaning
– Experience at grooming school or an apprenticeship
-Communication skills with clients
-A portfolio and clients with recommendations is a plus but not a requirement
– Ability to maintain a clean work environment
– Ability to groom various dog breeds
– Dependability and flexibility with scheduling
-Patience and the ability to handle difficult, elderly and nervous dogs in an effective manner
-Lift 50lbs or more and handle large dog breeds
-Can stand for long periods of time
-Can work in a loud environment (I do provide ear plugs)
-Have pride in quality of work and pay attention to detail
