Job Description:
Sam’s Pamper Camper is a pet grooming business in La Crosse, WI, featuring mobile and in-person services. Our goal is to provide a healthy and positive grooming experience for animals by caring for each animals’ unique needs. We meet the needs of homebound and elderly citizens in our community by providing mobile grooming services, and offering grooming and care services in our salon. By ensuring we provide high quality services every time, we will build long lasting relationships with our clients.
Responsibilities:
– Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, and trimming pets’ fur
– Provide nail trims and ear cleaning for pets
– Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
– Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
– Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests
– Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions
– Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners
Requirements:
– Previous experience in pet grooming or recently graduated from training program
– Knowledge of different grooming techniques and styles for various breeds of dogs and cats
– Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow grooming instructions accurately
– Excellent communication skills with both pet owners and team members
– Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or bending
– Certification or training in veterinary assistance, dog training, or animal care is a plus
